From Death into Life is still available in print and can be obtained through the Good News Crusade.

www.gnc.org.uk

I found it by searching for Haslam under 'bookshop'. They tell me that there are ample supplies still available and I understand that the source is Mr Adam Gordon who is now living in Sunderland.

I found the following advertisment at the back of a newly published book by Kent Philpot, entitled ‘Are you being Duped?’ jointly published by Evangelical Press and Earthen Vessel Publishing:

Quote:
From death into life

by William Haslam

‘The parson is converted! The parson is converted!’ was the cry from the congregation the day Rev. William Haslam was converted. It happened to this Anglican priest while he was preaching in his own church. This was in Cornwall, England, in the 1840s.

The Rev. Haslam tells the story of his conversion, and so much more, in ‘From death into life’ - newly published by Evangelical Press and Earthen Vessel Publishing.

Kent Philpott says: ‘I have not had a book have such an impact on me in two decades; I have never seen so many people of my personal acquaintance so struck by a book in my lifetime. We simply wanted others to read this incredible story.’

EVANGELICAL PRESS / EARTHEN VESSEL PUBLISHING, ISBN 0 9703296 2 8

I contacted Evangelical Press but they do not have it in stock as yet.

Many thanks - we had heard that it was due to be published. It is good to hear that it is now available. Hopefully Yet not I will be published again too?

Hello Everyone, I wanted to let you know that our little publishing company, Earthen Vessel Publishing has a new offering. It is jointly published with Evangelical Press. This wonderful missionary ministry, distributes the book outside the U.S.

It is the story of an Anglican Priest who ministered mostly in Cornwall England between about 1841 and 1870. He tells the story of his conversion while he was preaching in his home church in Cornwall then goes on to tell the results of that conversion and his new way of understanding conversion. It is a fascinating tale, and the times I have read it I was sad when I came to the end of the book.

The title of the book is: FROM DEATH INTO LIFE. The author is W. Haslam. The ISBN # is: 0-9703296-2-8.

There is a website devoted to his memory. Rev. Haslam is still remembered and revered in the Cornwall area. The site is: www.williamhaslam.org

It is available at www.amazon.com and should be able to ordered at any Christian book store. I only wrote the introduction.

Hope you are greatly encouraged by this incredible book.

Kent Philpott

Is Mr Philpott aware of the sequel to fdil - Yet not I. Surely he must be. This continues the account for the second twenty years of his ministry in which WH ministered in Bath, Norfolk and London as well as his wide itinerant ministry which took him as far as Scotland. After Yet not I days we understand he visited Canada and was a leading figure in the Keswick movement. He died in 1905
